I'm Vahid, a data engineer and analytics professional. I build reliable data systems, automate the workflows around them, and turn messy, complex information into something people can actually act on.

Most of my work lives in the modern data stack: Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, cloud platforms, and a fair amount of workflow automation, right at the intersection of data engineering and business operations. I like the problems that sit between "the pipeline runs" and "the business made a better decision because of it."

Outside the day job I'm usually tinkering: emerging tech and AI, homelab projects, and side ventures that mix data, automation, and a bit of creativity. This site is where I write it all down: sometimes polished conclusions, sometimes just thinking out loud while I work something out.
